I do wish we had more of your sauce, it is so good! Our next party will have a request for extra. We have never hosted a catered party, and you exceed our expectations. Amazingly delicious food! My husband and I had an outdoor wedding and wanted to serve BBQ for our guests – Double D’s was hands down the best decision we made during our planning process! Our guests raved about the food during the reception, coming to us even after the wedding weeks later to ask who we had used.
The food was some of the best BBQ we have had, but the actual team of smokers that catered our event were spectacular. It rained the entire day of our wedding – downpoured was more like it – and both Don and Roc were helping my husband and I prepare by moving and laying down sandbags, setting up tables, chairs, etc. And Don had gone above and beyond to let us sample the BBQ before we booked for our wedding!
This company is 10 out of 5 stars, I would recommend them to everyone and anyone!

I don’t know how they do it but, this is the best pulled pork I’ve EVER had.

My company decided to go with Double D for our yearly picnic this past Friday. Prior to the event, Don and I communicated via email. He was always quick to respond and thoroughly explained everything.
The day of the event, Don and his partner (I’m sorry, I cannot recall his name) were so incredibly helpful. They helped the girls set up tables, set up food, etc.. They didn’t have to do it but, did it out of true kindness.

The food itself (pig and chicken) was incredible! The pig was cooked on site over a 12 hour period. Both were super moist and had awesome flavor! Each were presented with and without BBQ sauce, which is a nice option. I didn’t realize till after the event that one of our guests has celiac and cannot eat certain BBQ sauces. She was thankful that there was pork and chicken available without the sauce so, that she was able to eat without the chance of having a flare up.

They provided Sweet Baby Rays and their own Double D BBQ sauce to go along with the meats. I have always been a SBR fan and it was my go to sauce……until now. Their BBQ sauce is a little sweet, a little spicy and a whole lot of WOW! You can buy this stuff by the gallon from them and I fully intend to.

Everyone raved about the food and we were couldn’t have been more pleased with Double D.

I have nothing but amazing and excellent things to say about DD Pig Roasts.

Earlier this year I searched for companies to do a pig roast for a major birthday. I came across your typical pig roast companies. But what I didn’t like about them was everything was ala carte. That was a major turn off…

Then I found DD Pig Roasts. It was a flat rate, with mileage, and everything else Don includes on his website. I was like eureka! I gave my deposit back in January for an event I had on July 24, 2016.

On the day of the event, here comes the pig…. WOW is all I have to say. The show where Don and his partners showcase all the different parts of the pig before you get to taste it. OMG was it amazing! I only wish food was this good from the store.
Don and his partner were very helpful both during the cooking time and after the event to help with random items. I would strongly recommend anyone looking for a pig roast to look no further.

Don and his company have definitely set the bar high.

Just wanted to touch base with you regarding our Graduation Pig Roast on July 15th.   It was absolutely perfect!!!  Your guys are terrific except we have a little 8 MO old yorky who did not like the smell of pig!

What a pistol he was and spent most of his day in a time out!

The pig was wonderful.  People who do not eat pork ate it and raved about it.  All the sides fit for all kinds of palates.

So happy that I was able find you and find such a professional operation.  We are a family that have been a part of many pig roasts that our family did up in the U.P of Michigan on my Grama’s property and in lower Michigan at my uncles.  But to have someone take care of everything made it very special so we did not have to think about the food and could really enjoy our party and our guests .

The smells were waffling through the neighborhood all day so they came hungry.
